By having the dip dye only 25% up the hair this creates a far more natural look, and are easier to blend & style. Further colours will become available later on in the year. The Micro Ring Technique: The Micro Ring technique is generally considered to be the smallest and most undetectable Hair Extension technique available, which combines soft or fine strands of natural hair with the extension hair. As there is no glue, sewing or braids involved there is no damage to your own hair. Micro Ring extensions should last three to four months before needing to be removed, reinstalled or tightened. This technique can be done on all types of hair. The copper rings are available in different colors and are covered with plastic providing a comfortable cushion for the hair. The rings clamp securely in place and will not slip out even during the most challenging of activities. Those who have worn micro ring extensions state that they are comfortable day-to-day and the hair stays in place until you remove it. About The Hair: The extensions are made from Indian Remy Hair and are of grade AAAAA quality and are 0.8 or 1g in weight per strand. The term ‘Remy’ means that each strand of hair is laid in the same direction as the natural hair growth. If hair is non Remy then the individual hairs would be lying in opposite directions, resulting in matting, this is the same effect as backcombing! The cuticle layer is still intact; this helps to seal in moisture, protecting the hair from the elements and environmental damage. The absence of the cuticle layer dries hair out rapidly and makes it prone to breakage. As a result, hair will look dry, brittle and dull. Indian Hair is more suitable for extensions than Chinese Hair as the structure and density of Indian Hair is similar to European Hair. Chinese Hair is thick and has to be thinned out in acid baths before the hair is covered in silicone coatings to make the hair appear shiny and healthy. However after a few washes this silicone layer washes off and reveals dry, brittle hair underneath.
